近來很火的rainmeter是壹款小巧而強大的超絢麗桌面美化、系統監控程序，可以監控cpu負載、內存分配、網絡信息流量、系統運行狀態、硬盤使用情況等，可以將監控數據具象化並能以不同形式（柱狀圖、條狀圖、點陣圖或是純數字）呈現。rainmeter本身只是個引擎，需要通過skin及config的定制來實現各種功能，支持插件界面，可依靠第三方插件實現功能的延伸。
rainmeter的性質與windows邊欄有些相似，卻又在操控性和可定制性上要寬泛得多，在開啟和windows邊欄同樣功能的工具時，內存占用只有windows邊欄的十分之壹左右，值得推薦。
此程序需要microsoft visual c++ 2008 sp1 redistributable package (x86)方可運行，如果妳系統內未裝，可到微軟下載或點下面鏈接：

所用字體為：capture it、microgrammadbolext、微軟雅黑、文鼎石頭體、漢儀雪君體簡、迷妳簡漢真廣標。其中兩個英文字體已打包在fonts文件夾，其它字體太大就不提供了，自行下載安裝或者替換為自己喜歡的吧，需先將所有字體安裝到系統字體庫中方可顯現效果。
