bitcomet是基於bittorrent協議的p2p文件分享免費軟件，支持多任務下載，文件有選擇的下載；磁盤緩存，減小對硬盤的損傷；只需壹個監聽端口，方便手工防火墻和nat/router配置；在windowsxp下能自動配置支持upnp的nat和xp防火墻，續傳做種免掃描，速度限制等多項實用功能，以及自然方便的使用界面。

7. 智能磁盤緩存（intelligentdiskcache）技術，犧牲內存占用為代價有效減小高速下載上傳對硬盤的損傷。
8. 智能磁盤分配（intelligentdiskallocating）技術，有效減少磁盤碎片產生。
9. 智能文件掃描（intelligenthashscan）技術，續傳作種均無需再次掃描文件。
